ASIA CUP 2023 Confirmed!

After numerous twists and turns, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has finally approved the hybrid model proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to the new plan, the tournament will be held in two different venues: Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Recently, Sri Lanka Cricket accepted the hosting proposal and agreed to host all of the Indian Cricket Team's matches in Sri Lanka. The first four matches will be played in Pakistan, while the remaining games will take place in Sri Lanka. Due to the hybrid model, the games played in Pakistan make it a secondary venue with only four matches, while the remaining nine games are played in Sri Lanka, establishing it as the primary venue. The tournament is scheduled to commence on August 31, 2023, and will conclude on September 17. The Asia Cup will be a 50-over One-Day International (ODI) event.
