Comeback of Rishabh Pant.

The 25 years old Indian Wicketkeeper-Batsman Rishabh Pant will probably miss the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 and might take some more time to recover as he suffered a severe accident in December 2022.

Reports suggest that he is recovering faster than anticipated, but it will take seven to eight months for him to regain cricket fitness. He is not expected to return to the game before the end of 2023, and even then, he will likely only be able to play as a batsman, not a wicketkeeper.

Recently, he was seen supporting his IPL team, the Delhi Capitals, where he served as captain. He also visited the team during practice sessions and chatted with his teammates, There he stated, "I am recovering really well, better than I thought. I am getting better every day."

Rishabh Pant will miss out on various upcoming cricketing events, He so far has missed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy which was held in Feb-Mar of 2023. He will further miss the World Test Championship 2023 Final, the forthcoming Asia Cup, and The ODI World Cup 2023. Also the Bilateral series between the West Indies and Australia.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is making efforts to aid and accelerate his recovery and support him in every possible way during this tough time. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their champion but have been left saddened by the news of his extended absence.
