Another thriller in the Indian Premier League as CSK won the match by just 8 runs against RCB. Both teams collided in the series for the first time, and they definitely put on a show for the fans. Setting the second-highest score of the season and securing the third rank on the points table with 6 points, Chennai has reported a bounce back in their performance after losing the last match. However, for RCB, it was their third loss in five games so far, raising concerns about their performance.

Both teams combined to smash 33 sixes in the match, with Devon Conway's 83 (45) [Player of the Match], Shivam Dube's 52 (27) contribution, and Ajinkya Rahane's 37 (20) cameo leading to a massive target of 226. For RCB, this time Glenn Maxwell stepped up as a key player in their batting lineup by scoring 76 (36), with Faf du Plessis 62 (33) partnering after an early fall of 2 wickets.

The pitch at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was easy for batters to bat on as it was flat. The ball, even after not connecting with the bat properly, flew out of the boundary rope. Cricket fans saw some huge sixes, and the Mahirat duo was on the pitch together after a long time, making it one entertaining game.

ASIA CUP 2023 Confirmed!

After numerous twists and turns, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has finally approved the hybrid model proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to the new plan, the tournament will be held in two different venues: Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Recently, Sri Lanka Cricket accepted the hosting proposal and agreed to host all of the Indian Cricket Team's matches in Sri Lanka. The first four matches will be played in Pakistan, while the remaining games will take place in Sri Lanka. Due to the hybrid model, the games played in Pakistan make it a secondary venue with only four matches, while the remaining nine games are played in Sri Lanka, establishing it as the primary venue. The tournament is scheduled to commence on August 31, 2023, and will conclude on September 17. The Asia Cup will be a 50-over One-Day International (ODI) event.
